First Post And Reasons To Recover

So I decided to create a blog to help and inspire people recovering from an eating disorder. I am currently in recovery myself and have been for nearly a year and a half now. I wanted to use the knowledge I have collected over this time to help others because I know how much of a struggle it is.

I thought I'd write some reasons to recover that are important to me.

1. Just purely to have my thoughts free of numbers and food
2. So I can enjoy the time with my friends and not be worried and sad
3. So I can spend time with my family and not live in my bedroom
4. So I can meet new people and go on adventures instead of crying about pizza.
5. So I can make my friends proud instead of worrying them.
6. So I have enough energy to do the things I love
7. So I can enjoy food again and not think of it as a chore
8. So that the good days eventually out way the bad days
9. So that I can wear the clothes I want and feel amazing
10. So that I can love my body instead of destroying it
11. So I can live! Travel the world, meet new people, learn new things, swim in the ocean, watch the sunset, accomplish your dreams.
